Ezequiel Garay

According to reports Ezequiel Garay wants to join Arsenal this summer ahead of Italian side Inter Milan.

Zenit defender Ezequiel Garay is keen on a move to the Emirates stadium this summer and has been tipped to leave Zenit this summer after joining from Benfica two years ago.

The Argentine international is not in the Argentina squad for their Copa America campaign this summer so the player will find it easier to find a suited club without any distractions.

Zenit manager Mircea Lucescu is said to be aware of interest in Garay, who cost the Russian club €6m in 2014 and will look to make a healthy profit if they are forced to sell their man.

The 29 year-old has gone on to make 56 appearances for Zenit scoring three goals, although he was sounded out of the Argentina squad this summer, he has represented them 32 times scoring 0 goals.

New Manchester United boss Jose Mourinho is also interested in the Centre-back but reports suggest Inter Milan or Arsenal is more viable destinations.

According to the claims, Inter have earmarked Garay as a strong replacement for Jeison Murillo, who could leave in a big-money transfer when the window opens next month.

Arsenal will need to strengthen their frail backline this summer as they lack a real leader at the back which has cost them many times in recent seasons.

Arsenal Legend David Seaman has also urged Arsene to sign a new Centre-back this summer to bolster competition for Laurent Koscielny, Gabriel and Per Mertesaker.

Garay would certainly be a good signing for the Gunners and strengthen their defense, the clubs is rumored to have up to £100 million to spend this summer and Garay would certainly not break the bank with a price of £15 million set to be enough to capture him.

Jeison Murrilo

Arsenal is reportedly interested in a potential move for Inter Milan defender Jeison Murrilo.

In the last 24 hours Arsenal have been linked with two defenders so Arsenal have clearly identified this position as a priority this summer, which will make the fans happy.

Arsenal has been very weak at the back in recent seasons, and has been easy to attack, reinforcements are needed this summer and it looks like Arsenal want to bring Murrilo to the Premier League.

The Colombia international impressed for the Italian club last season, making 35 appearances in all competitions. His impressive debut season saw him score two goals and grab an assist.

Murrilo has represented Columbia 20 times time’s getting on the score sheet once.

Inter snapped Murrilo up from Granada last year for just €10m, including bonuses, and his price-tag has since sky-rocketed after impressive performances to €20m.

The 24-year-old centre-back is attracting plenty of interest around Europe this summer including the likes of Carlo Ancelotti’s Bayern Munich and Zenit St Petersburg are also believed to be keeping an eye on his situation and see Murrilo as a potential replacement for the outgoing Garay.

Inter Milan will be desperate to keep hold of their man this summer but with the club experiencing financial problems, a number of key players could be sold this summer.

Murillo has admitted he does not know where his future lies but suggests no decision will be made until after the Copa America.

“I don’t what’s going to happen, I’m focused only on Colombia and Copa America,” Murillo told Italian outlet Fcinternews.it.

“After this, I’ll think [about the future]. I’m happy at Inter”.

Chelsea are supposedly in talks over a £20 million move for the Columbia international so Arsenal will have to move quick if they’re to beat them to signing him, with the Gunners able to offer him Champions League football .

Alexis Sanchez

After the departure of Alvaro Morata, Juventus will now target Arsenal’s Alexis Sanchez this summer and has identified the hit-man as their number one target.

Much to the annoyance of Arsenal fans, Juventus will try and sign Alexis this summer after deeming Edinson Cavani and Romelu Lukaku unrealistic due to the huge asking fee.

Alexis, who is currently representing Chile at the Copa America has been linked with Juventus many times over the years, including in 2014 before he made his switch to Arsenal from Barcelona.

Arsenal managed to beat Juventus to his signature and has since gone on to play 65 league games for the Gunners scoring 29 goals, Sanchez who won the Copa America last summer has also represented Chile 99 times scoring 34 goals.

Sky Sports Italia suggests Alexis is frustrated with the lack of silverware at Arsenal after their dim title challenge.

Although these suggestions come from a very reliable outlet, there is no indication Alexis Sanchez is unhappy at Arsenal.

Sanchez is rumours to be on the market for around €55 million with Juventus already bagging themselves €30 million from the Morata sale.

Juventus hope to further lower the price by including players in an exchange with Arsenal, which will be hard to agree on as the Gunners see Alexis as their key man.

Arsenal is under no pressure to sell their main players, and with Alexis under contract until 2018 they will be relatively relaxed about his situation this summer.

It is hard to see the Gunners agree to any deal for their star players this summer and will certainly look to tie Alexis and Mesut Ozil down on new bumper contracts.

If Juventus fail to sign Alexis they could instead make a move for Lazio youngster Keita Balde Diao, who has been recently heavily linked with Real Madrid and Barcelona.

Balde could be available for just €10 million this summer, he’d be considerably cheaper, but not the finished article the way Alexis Sanchez is.
