Isaac Hayden

According to reports, Newcastle boss Rafa Benitez is weighing a move for 21-year-old starlet Isaac Hayden.

The Magpies boss is on the hunt for at least one defensive addition, and the versatile holding midfielder can just as easy play at Centre-half.

Steven Taylor will leave St James’ Park when his contract expires next week while Daryl Janmaat and Fabricio Coloccini could be moved on which would make way for at least one incoming signing.

Arsene Wenger is keen to send Hayden back out on loan as part of his development after a successful loan spell at Hull last season.

Hayden who was joined by fellow Gunner Chuba Akpom at Hull went on to make 24 appearances scoring one goal as the Tigers secured promotion to the Premier League.

Hayden is about to enter the final 12 months of his current contract and has mad just two first team appearances for Arsenal thus far.

Newcastle will be in a battle to secure the signing for Hayden with Hull and QPR also interested in his services.

Romelu Lukaku

Arsenal will look into the availability of Romelu Lukaku this summer as it seems likely they will miss out on their number one target Jamie Vardy.

Arsenal are desperate to bolster their attacking options this summer after being toothless in front of goal last season.

According to reports, Arsenal have opened talks with Everton over a surprised move for their upfront hit-man Lukaku.

Lukaku is currently representing Belgium at the Euros and has admitted he could leave Everton this summer; he scored a brace in Belgium’s 3-0 win over Ireland.

Reports suggest the big Belgian could cost as much as £50 million this summer, this hefty fee could see Arsenal look elsewhere but after bagging themselves £101 million from last season alone, they could easily find the funds to go ahead with the deal.

Lukaku has been with Everton since 2014 after securing a permanent move from Chelsea, he has gone onto make 73 appearances scoring 28 goals, and at just 23 he has also represented Belgium 46 times scoring 14 goals.

Former Arsenal midfielder Paul Merson yesterday suggested Arsenal should go all out for Lukaku after identifying him as the ideal candidate to lead the Gunners strike force.

Lukaku is still very raw, and at the age of 23 years-old will only get better, he is Premier League proven and may well be worth the risk.

Several clubs are interested in Lukaku including European giants Juventus, PSG and Manchester United with his former club Chelsea also monitoring his situation.

Lucas Vietto

According to reports, Arsenal and Manchester United have turned their attention to signing Atletico Madrid striker Luciano.

The 22 year-old joined Madrid in June 2015 after successfully securing a move from Villarreal for a fee of €20m (£15.4m)

Vietto has fallen out of favour under Diego Simeone after scoring just three goals in all competitions and could have permission to leave the club this summer.

As reported, Arsenal are desperate to land a striker this summer and Arsene Wenger has now identified Vietto as a potential target if Vardy does stay at the King Power stadium.

Manchester United are also very interested in signing Vietto but have made signing Zlatan Ibrahimovic their priority. Once again it seems that Vietto is the alternative, and not the priority

Both United and Arsenal will face competition from several clubs across Europe in signing the Atletico striker. Vietto has set his sights on playing for Barcelona, alongside his compatriot Lionel Messi.

“Yes, I’d love to play with him [Messi]. Who would not? But I know nothing about Barcelona, only what I have seen on social networks and in the media. After finishing my holidays I’ll make a decision,”

Arsenal and United will be wary of Vietto’s potential, at just 22 he could easily rekindle his impressive form which saw him move to Athleitco after bagging himself 18 goals for Villarreal.

Vietto, like many players clearly has his sights on a big money move to Barcelona but could be tempted at the prospect of playing in England.
