Arsenal to offer Cavani £120k-a-week deal if Vardy transfer falls through

According to the Express Arsenal have set their sights on Edinson Cavani if Jamie Vardy rejects the Gunners offer and decides to stay with Leicester City.

It is understood Cavani is set to join Ibrahimovic out the exit door from PSG this summer and it has been reported Cavani has rejected a £500,000 per week offer from China. The 29 year-old has been a long term target of Gunners boss Arsene Wenger and the Uruguayan international could seal himself a £120,00 per week contract if he decides to swap Paris for England.

Cavani is one of Europes most in demand Striker’s after such an impressive career. Cavani is a rare breed, this type of calibre is very hard for teams to secure and if he is available this summer many, many clubs will be interested.
Cavani moved to PSG in 2013 for a fee believed to be around €64 million. He has since gone on to score 53 goals in 97 appearances.
Jamie Vardy has stalled on his decision to join the Gunners and it seem’s Arsenal will identify other possible targets so they don’t have a repeat of the Luis Suarez saga and end up with nobody.
If a deal does fail to materialise Arsenal will then pursue other targets however, Arsenal remain confident Jamie Vardy will join the Gunners and Arsene Wenger is keeping a close eye on his performances after being present in England’s opening game against Russia, although Vardy did not feature.

Arsenal weighing up £15m bid for Albania ace Elseid Hysaj

According to the Daily Star Arsenal are interested in Napoli star Elseid Hysaj ahead of a potential £15 million move this summer.
22 year-old Hysaj has been hugely impressive since his arrival in Napoli in 2015 and this has caught the eye of the Gunners who are deemed very interested in the Albanian international.
Hysaj who arrived in Naples in June 2015 for just £5 million signing from Empoli had a very impressive debut season for the Italian club, Hysaj made 35 appearances this season scoring 0 goals.
Hysaj is representing Albania at the Euros this summer and featured in their loss in the opening game to Switzerland. It is likely lots of European clubs will be circling the Napoli star and watching how he does on the biggest stage this summer.
Arsene Wenger is desperate to bolster both full back positions this summer with Mathieu Debuchy and Kieran Gibbs likely to leave the club. Hysaj, who is a versatile defender could easily slot in at Left Back which would also please the Gunners.
Arsenal are looking for a player who can give concrete competition to Hector Bellerin who has been one of Europe’s young bright sparks this season.
Barcelona are also interested in Hysaj to replace the outgoing Dani Alves who has recently left the Catalan giants for Juventus.
Mancester United and Chelsea are also interested in his signature, but with the Gunners securing automatic Champions League football that leaves them in poll position to land their man.

New Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho has joined the race to sign Leicester City star N’golo Kante

The Red Devils intend to activate Kante’s £22 million release clause this summer with Jose Mourinho looking to rebuild United’s depleted squad. Kante has had an astonishing first season in the Premier league and was at the heart of Leicester City’s miracle league title.
According to the Daily Mirror Mourinho wants to sign a new midfield powerhouse this summer and Kante top’s their list of potential targets.
Leicester signed Kante for a bargain price of £5.6 million from Caen last summer after another good coup found by Leicester’s scouts. Worryingly, for the Foxes Kante has a €25m exit clause in his contract which can be triggered by any interested clubs.
Kante featured in 37 games for Leicester this season missing just one game, he was their midfield gem and his relentless engine helped Leicester to win their first ever Premier League title, Kante also got himself on the score-sheet scoring one goal.
Kante’s impressive season earned him a call up to the Euro squad for France this summer and was involved in their opening 2-1 victory over Romania.
PSG are very interested in Kante and have reportedly offered Kante a five year contract, but with Kante settled in England the Red Devils could take full advantage of his release clause to Leicester’s misery.
The Champions will find it nearly impossible to keep hold of their prized asset this summer with European giants PSG, Arsenal and Chelsea all seriously interested in their midfielder.
