Well, that was an uplifting win! After what seemed like a mission impossible, has now become mission possible. Thanks to a brace from Sanchez, and one from Ozil, we can all now start to look ahead to a must win tie at Olympiacos to ensure we qualify for the knock-out stage.

Before we all get ahead of ourselves though, lets take a look at what went right. We went into this match knowing  that anything less than a win would see us fail to qualify for the second round of the Champions League for only the third time under Arsene Wenger, so it was important that we did win this match.

This is the sort of scoreline we wanted, and that is what we got to make sure that we were still in the tournament, so that we didn’t end up playing on a “Spursday”.

The first goal from Ozil told you all you needed to know how this match was going to turn out. And with the second goal following soon after from Sanchez, you knew which way the match was going. By the time Sanchez had his second goal of the match, it was already tie over as Dinamo Zagreb didn’t look like scoring.

So with a win tonight, we can now look forward to a “cup final” meeting against Olympiacos in two weeks time.
